BUXATRAP is a trap specially designed for the signalling and catching of adult box tree moths. Always use the trap in combination with the specific pheromone that lures the male moths.
How does BUXATRAP work?
The trap consists of an upper part with a small chamber that can hold the phreomone capsule. The pheromone is a species-specific lure that atttracts the male box tree moths. Under the upper part is a small bucket to which water and soap can be added. The moths will end up here after they have flown into the trap. The trap can be used for an extended time; as long as the pheromone is replaced regularly.
How to combine BUXATRAP?
BUXATRAP only functions if it is combined with a pheromone capsule. We always supply these products together. The young caterpillars of the box tree moth can be controlled by CAPSANEM. These are nematodes that can be mixed with water and poured over the plant. The nematodes will enter the caterpillars; thereby killing them.
Place the traps when the moths fly,which is from May/June until November.

Assemble the trap and put the pheromone capsule in the designated chamber in the lid.
