What is a multi-funnel trap?
A multi-funnel trap is a pheromone trap that consists of several layers. It is mainly intended to catch harmful bark beetles such as the European spruce bark beetle.
How does a multi-funnel trap work?
In the upper part of the trap you can attach the species-specific pheromone of the pest you want to detect. The harmful insects are attracted to the pheromone; land on the trap and fall into the funnel. With the multi-funnel trap you can easily monitor if the pest insect is present and whether you need to take additional measures.
How to combine a multi-funnel trap
The trap can only be used in combination with a species-specific pheromone. For example the bark beetle pheromone.
