What is a Delta trap Transparant?

The transparent delta trap can be used in combination with glue plates and pheromones to detect and catch flying insects such as butterflies; moths and the winged males of citrus mealybugs. This product is a refill. For the complete set with glue bases; look at delta trap + two glue plates.

How does Delta trap Transparent work?

The transparent delta trap only works in combination with glue plates and pheromones. The species-specific pheromones lure the insects to the trap. where they will get stuck on the glue plate. You can determine whether you need to take measures to combat the pest on the basis of the numbers of insects on the glue plate. By counting the insects caught weekly; you can monitor the development of the pest pressure and adjust the biological control strategy accordingly.

How to combine Delta trap Transparent?

The delta trap only works with glue plates and pheromones that attract the insects. You can order these species-specific pheromones separately. We can supply a wide range of pheromones. Some we have in stock; while others we can order for you. You can also order the glue plates separately so that you can replace them regularly.

• Use 2 - 4 traps per 100 m² for monitoring of moths
• Use 1 trap per 500 - 1000 m² for monitoring citrus mealybug

• Fold the delta trap into a triangle.
• Place a glue plate on the bottom of the trap, with the glue side up
• Fold both edges on the base of the triangle inwards.

• Always use the delta trap with only one type of pheromone to avoid odor confusion.
